Come to this interactive workshop to learn to understand your body a little better. Learn basic anatomy and pelvic floor functions and how that effects our daily life and activities. Maybe you have back, hip or pelvic pain. Maybe you have discomfort in sitting or in certain yoga poses. Maybe your posture isn’t as good as it could/should be. Maybe you have urinary urgency or frequency. Maybe you’re just curious about this thing called the pelvic floor.
You will learn how to use your pelvic floor to improve your physical yoga practice and also how you can use yoga (physical practice, mindfulness and breathing and maybe pelvic floor physical therapy) to improve your pelvic floor function.
There will be information sharing, Q and A and movement. Bring your mat and your questions.
