Practical Potions: Herbal Vinegars with Leslie Gossett

Learn which herbs are best for vinegar extractions, the differences between a vinegar extraction and other extraction methods, and explore oxymels- a vinegar and honey extraction. Herbal vinegars can be great nutrient/vitamin/mineral supplements, or just delicious for culinary use. Vinegars are also a good way to preserve seasonal fruits. Participants will make and take home an infused vinegar. 

A guided outdoor plant walk will be offered from 11am to 12:15pm at a site 10-15 minutes from the yoga studio, where the potions making will take place from 12:45 to 3pm. This allows for a short break for you to travel to the studio, have a snack, etc.
